Not sure how to list a reference? Stalled on where the full stop or comma should go? Forgotten what has to be typed in italics (or underlined if you’re still using a pen or typewriter)? How to deal with ‘unusual’ citations?
Your problems are over!
Each of Citing Your References’ 26 pages deals with a specific type of reference—from books by one or more authors, through articles, to specialised outputs.(There’s even some pages on the best ways of researching references.)
CYR (as it’s known in the office) uses the author date system for citing references. Sometimes called the Harvard system, it’s simple, straightforward and suitable for a whole range of presentations—as these pages illustrate.
A veritable gold mine of information and the discounted price here is only £6.50.

The world is awash with them! It seems as if someone in the bowels of of the earth is inventing new acronyms by the second. (It all started with ITMA, you know.)
True, to get anywhere in an education world dominated by the politician, ably supported by the accountant, there’s much to gain by finding yourself an interesting sounding acronym (hopefully making a catchy word or phrase) for your new project. Money will flow!
Learning Resources Acronyms was published in 2003 so it’s really an archive, now. Useful for all those researching the education of the 60s through to the 90s—a rich era of acronym devising!
So, we do have some copies of this booklet by Marian Armstrong that we are now selling off—first come first served.
